57 participants from the government, international, national and local NGOs, UN agencies, private sector, media, and academic institutions attended the workshop. Five focus group discussions, composed of provincial and district committees for disaster management, local humanitarian organizations, key government ministries, UN and INGOs, and private sectors, academia, and media, were conducted on pre-defined questions. Through focus group discussions, the participants analyzed the current capacities and the needs of various stakeholders involved in disaster preparedness and emergency response in Cambodia.

The workshop results will be used for baseline assessments and building a roadmap for Cambodia for strengthening the humanitarian institutional leadership capacity.
