The total water consumption of the Songliao basin was seventy billion four hundred and eighty-seven million cubic meters, the production water accounted for 90.5% of the total amount, domestic water accounted for 6.3% and ecological water accounted for 3.2%. The total water consumption of Songliao River Basin is 44.83 billion cubic meters, and the comprehensive water consumption rate is 63.6.
In 2015, the amount of water resources per capita was 1473.35 cubic meters, the water consumption per capita was 582 cubic meters, the 10 000 yuan GDP water consumption was 109 cubic meters, the average farmland irrigation water consumption was 391 cubic meters, the living water consumption per capita was 100.0 liters per day.
