Introduction to the national emblem : The national emblem of Lesotho was used on October 4, 1968, and was revised in 2006. The central design of the national emblem is a brown coat of arms of a local warrior. On the top of the back is a bunch of Royal ornaments made of camel and black feathers, spears thrown by the Basu tuolan people and the round headed mallet commonly used by Bantu people. Under the coat of arms, King Mosotheau I of the 19th century is buried on the Tababosu mountain. The rugged land at the foot of the mountain is a typical representative of the national landform. Two brown steeds stand on either side of the coat of arms, which are the embodiment of strength.

Brief Introduction

The full name of Lesotho is the kingdom of Lesotho, one of the southern African countries and a member of the Commonwealth. Lesotho is located in southeast Africa, an inland country, in the eastern edge of the South African Plateau on the western slope of Drakensberg.

Lesotho became independent from Britain on October 4, 1966. Because its territory is completely surrounded by South Africa, it is known as "Country in countries", which is the largest one in the world.

Lesotho is one of the least developed countries in the world declared by the United Nations because of its poor natural resources and weak economic foundation.
