Ireland (Irish: Poblacht na hÉireann; English: Republic of Ireland), is a parliamentary republic country in Western Europe, it faces the Atlantic Ocean in the west, the Irish Sea in the East, and faces Britain across the sea, it is the passage from North America to Europe. Ireland's natural environment is well maintained, known as "Emerald island country", the country is covered with trees and rivers.
Its university education is very mature, the capital Dublin has been known as the University City since the middle ages. The climate is mild and the temperature is relatively balanced. May to June is the sunniest period of the year, which is more suitable for travel. Because of the grassland all over the country, it is also called "Green Island", "Emerald" and "Emerald Island Country".
The Irish belong to Celts and are the descendants of the first generation of residents in the European continent. Ireland was independent from the British colonial rule in 1922 and became a permanent neutral state.
Ireland is a highly developed capitalist country. It is also a member of the European Union, the organization for economic cooperation and development, the World Trade Organization and the United Nations, and it is also one of the fastest growing countries in the world, and has won the reputation of "European tiger" because of its developed economy.
