Li Zechun (1935.6.1-), born in Jiangsu city of Nanjing Province, and the synoptic dynamic numerical forecasting expert, Chinese academician of the Academy of Engineering Chinese; created the first operational numerical weather prediction system, the establishment of a national medium and short term numerical weather forecast service system.

On 1966, Li Zechun Peking University Department of Geophysics, Graduate School; in 1985, he served as director of the National Meteorological Center; in 1987, was named fellow; 1995, was elected as academician of Academy of Engineering Chinese.

Li Zechun engaged in Atmospheric Science Engineering long-term weather forecast and numerical weather forecast system of engineering construction and research work, the emergency office of the State Council expert group members, the State Environmental Protection Department Committee members, the Ministry of Civil Affairs Disaster Reduction Committee member of the expert group, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and China Academy of Meteorological Sciences, master tutor berson.At the same time is the national disaster prevention and mitigation committee experts.
