In order to ensure the implement of comprehensive disaster risk management, we need to the following supporting measures: establish a data base for potential risk of natural disasters and the ability for disaster reduction and keep it updated; establish the national and regional comprehensive disaster risk assessment index system, research on risk assessment methods of natural disaster and critical disaster conditions; enhance the ability of disaster risk assessment, emergency evaluation, loss assessment and social effect evaluation and improve the accuracy and timeliness of disaster assessment; establish a comprehensive risk assessment system for major projects and the supervision and control mechanism for the prevention of natural disaster caused by human factors.
