Intravenous infusion flow rate online calculation

App description

Intravenous infusion is a method of introducing a large amount of sterile liquid, electrolyte, and drug into the body by intravenous pressure using the principle of atmospheric pressure and hydrostatic pressure.

Intravenous infusion flow calculation

\(drops per minute=\frac {flow coefficient x volume volume}{infusion time (minutes)}\)

\(infusion time (hours) = \frac {flow coefficient × volume volume} {drops per minute × 60 minutes} \)

In the formula:

Flow coefficient: drip / ml, generally 15 drops / ml

Usage example

Capacity of the volume: 200mL

Time: 60min

Discharge coefficient: 15gtt/mL

Velocity of flow: 50gtt/min
