Single pendulum online calculator

A single point is suspended by a line of absolute flexibility and a negligible length and negligible mass, and a periodic motion in the vertical plane under the action of gravity becomes a single pendulum. A single pendulum can be approximated as a simple harmonic motion when it is vibrated under conditions of a swing angle of less than 5° (now generally considered to be less than 10°). The periodic formula of the single pendulum motion: T=2π√(L/g). where L is the pendulum length and g is the local gravitational acceleration.

Period: T2=4PI2*L/g

T = period

L = swing length

g = gravity acceleration
