Darcy-Weissbach formula---flow rate online calculator

App description

\(V=√[\frac {2×H _L×D×g}{F×L}]\)

  • V = flow rate
  • D = pipe diameter
  • HL= head loss
  • g = gravity acceleration
  • F = friction coefficient
  • L = pipe length

Usage example

Input data:

Friction factor - -15; head loss - 474 ft; pipe length - 45 ft; pipe diameter - -20 ft; gravitational acceleration - -8 ft / sec 2

Click "Calculate" to display the results.

Output results:

The flow rate is 14.99 ft / sec

Note

The unit of head loss, pipe length, pipe diameter and gravitational acceleration can be selected. Click the checkbox arrow at the back to select the corresponding unit.
