What is landslide?

Landslide is a phenomenon that the rock mass or land on slopes slide down through weak plane or weak belt under the effect of gravity because of various reasons, commonly known as "running mountain", "slippery floor","soil slip" etc.

It is affected by factors such as river erosion, groundwater activity, rainwater immersion, earthquake and artificial slope.
