The most serious catastrophe risk in our country is flood, which occurs every decade or several years of tens. And then is earthquake, which occurs in a couple of years or hundreds of years. In addition, persistent widespread droughts also threaten the economy and social stability.
Typhoon and storm sometimes may cause great loss of life and property and serious damage to the regional economy, which occurs every decades or centuries. Such as the disasters of flood with earthquake, flood with typhoon, flood with storm or drought with earthquake; or, the disasters may continuous occurs alternately, for example, the combination of flood and drought can largely increase the occurrence probability and degree of catastrophe.
