On March 20, 2014, a preparation and coordination meeting for agreement signing and unveiling ceremony of IKCEST was held in Meeting Room 334 of the CAE.
The attendees included Hans Dencker Thulstrup, program specialist of UNESCO Beijing Office, Kang Jincheng and Xu Jin, both Deputy Director-generals of the Department of International Cooperation of the CAE, Tian Qi and Ren Hongtao, Director of Division One and Two respectively, of the Department of International Cooperation, as well as the preparatory team members. They discussed matters related to the agreement signing and unveiling ceremony of the IKCEST.
The preparatory team briefly introduced the initial development plan for the centre. The two sides held detailed discussions on the agreement texts and ceremony implementation plan for June 2014. They also reached agreements as to specific issues related to Ms. Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO's, attending the signing and unveiling ceremony.
In the end, the two sides made detailed arrangements on their respective tasks and timeline for the important ceremony to be held in June.
