The main contents of seismic safety assessment include: seismic intensity review, design of ground motion parameters (acceleration, design response spectrum, ground motion time curve), seismic zoning, field and surrounding seismic geological stability evaluation, field seismic disaster prediction and so on.

The results of the seismic safety assessment, which have been approved, can be determined as the seismic fortification requirements for the specific construction project.

Damage and fortification of major facilities and lifeline projects: major engineering and lifeline engineering refers to large hydropower stations, nuclear power plants, communications, transportation and water supply, etc.These facilities, earthquake damage, harmful, serious losses, and sometimes cause the city function paralysis, Therefore, relative to the general structure of the building, requiring major engineering and lifeline projects to improve the corresponding seismic fortification requirements.

  • (2) seismic fortification of industrial and civil buildings. General civil engineering, must be in accordance with the requirements of seismic fortification seismic design, construction, to ensure that the safety of about 6 in the earthquake conditions.
