Xinlicheng Reservoir

Xinlicheng Reservoir is located 20 kilometers south of Changchun City, Jilin Province, on the Yitong River, a tributary of the Yinma River in the Songhua River Basin. The total capacity of the reservoir is 592 million square meters. Its middle flood control reservoir capacity is 3,200 million square meters, Xingli reservoir capacity is 273 million square meters. Xinlicheng reservoir is a large reservoir of comprehensive utilization which is used to supply water for industrial and domestic of Changchun, also combined with downstream flood control, waterlogging prevention, power generation and fish farming etc . The project began in July 20th 1958, completed in November 1962.

From November 1965 to June 1967, to enhance the flood regulation capacity, the original free spillway weir was rebuilt into three spillway. From June to November 1976, to ensure that the three-day rainfall of 400 mm could not destroy the dam, a new 50-meter spillway was constructed. In March 1983, the dam preserved project started under the maximum flood defense standard.

Jingbo Lake Hydropower Station

Jingbo Lake hydropower station is located in Ningan County, Heilongjiang province,in the middle reaches of Mudan River.

There are two plants in the power station. The old plants were built during the period of Japanese puppet, the key project has diversion tunnel and pressure pipeline (eg:open pipe, pressure tower, ground workshop, concrete overflow dam and rockfill dam, etc). The new plant is an extension project for the hydropower station, about 3 kilometers away from the old plant, the hub project has a diversion tunnel, the first underground powerhouse, the tailwater tunnel, and so on.The total storage capacity is 1 billion 824 million cubic meters.
