There have been tornadoes in every land country and the United States has the largest number of tornadoes. There are also many opportunities for tornadoes in Canada, Mexico, Britain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India. China's tornadoes mainly occur in south China and eastern China, and it often appears on the Xisha islands in the South China Sea.

The two tornados attacked Huntsville at around 9:30am according to the local time, about 10 minutes apart. In Alabama, tornadoes damaged many homes and blowed down lots of trees, causing 4 injuries.

In addition to Alabama, more than 20 people were injured in a tornado in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The local government also confirmed that several houses were damaged.

On February 28, 2012, a tornado killed 13 people in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and Tennessee.

On May 20, 2013 in the afternoon according to local time, a strong tornado attacks suburb of Oklahoma City, central Oklahoma and at least 91 people were killed and 233 injured. A primary school in the area was flattened, with 24 children trapped in the rubble. The hurried and swift tornado kills tens of thousands of people every year.
