Absolute humidity

Just like the distribution of summer monsoon, annual average water vapor pressure distributes diminishing from southern coast area where has the strongest pressure to the north, between 1120 pa to 530 pa. Dalian, in the south of Liaodong Peninsula reaches to 1100 pa, north forward; Kaiyuan is 910 pas, Haerbing 790 pa, Beian serves as 700 pas and Mohe, is only 560 pas.

Water vapor pressure also has the same changing trend of temperature in one year. In January, vapor pressure stands at a leave of mere 290 pa( in Lvshun) to 40 pa( in Mohe), while it will reach to 2510 pa to 1470 pa in July, which has increased by 9 to 40 times. This can also demonstrate its climate, which has been affected by monsoon, that is, the distinction between wet and dry is quite clear, humidity in summer and winter changes largely, the continental climate continually increased from south to north.

The segmentation of vapor pressure degree reflects two water vapor entrances to this area: the main one is derive from Huanghai and Bohai through Sonliao Plain to the north mainland, the another channel is started from Japanese Sea over North Korea Mountain, Changbai Mountain and Sihote Mountain of Russia, through Xingkai Lake until Sanjiang Plain.

Relative humidity

Annual average relative humidity comes as 51% to 74%. The middle-eastern mountain areas, are more than 70%, during which, Qianshan Mountain, Changbai Mountain, Zhangguangcai Village, Xiaoxinganling Mountain are the maximal, and then the humidity was reduces in both sides to the minimal west part. Relative humidity in Fuxin and Chaoyang, Laioning province, Shuangliao, Jilin province as well as the west area on the west of Qiqihaer, are less than 60%. Sanjiang Plain in the east and mountains reach to 65% to 70%. There are two high centers which are more than 70% in Rao River, Hulin of northeast boundary, and in Mohe, the northwest of this region.

In summer, relative humidity changes the most, which is from 67% to 91% overall , while in spring, it varies quite small, with a transformation of 37% to 68% in April. What's more, once there are southerly winds in April or May, relative humidity will merely be 0 to 5%.

It is because of the low relative humidity, merges with gales that air is dry and water is quickly to be evaporated in spring, which contributes to rainless and dry climate.
