General spatial distribution of topics

Kernel density analysis (radius is 200km) was performed on the microblog information with spatial position in each topic. The analysis results of primary topic are shown in Figure 4. The spatial distribution of the “Events notification”, “Popularization of prevention and treatment”, “Government response”, “Personal response”, and “Opinion and sentiments” has formed hot spots in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Yangtze River Delta, Sichuan, and Guangdong, but there are differences within each topic. “Events notification” is prominent in Beijing, supplemented by relatively high-value areas such as Wuhan, Shanghai, and Sichuan, with a continuous patchy situation. “Popularization of prevention and treatment” is prominent high-value in Beijing, supplemented by point-like high-value areas such as Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu, Hefei and Zhengzhou. “Government response” takes Beijing, Wuhan, Sichuan, Xi'an and Zhengzhou as the prominent high-value areas, and is distributed in a continuous patch, followed by the obvious response of cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Haikou. “Personal response” is mainly concentrated in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan, supplemented by relatively high-value areas such as Chengdu, Zhengzhou and Jinan. The high-value areas of “Opinion and sentiments” are more prominent around Wuhan, followed by points in the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and Pearl River Delta regions. "Seeking help" and "Making Donations" is different from the above, which is appearing prominently in the periphery of Wuhan, and concentrated in the Hubei area. The "Seeking help" spreads to the periphery, and the expansion to the north and east is more significant. The "Making Donations" is prominent in Beijing, Wuhan and Hainan, and is relatively concentrated in areas around Wuhan, the Pearl River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta and Zhengzhou, all over the country.
