The central pressure at landing is 910 hpa, which is the lowest value of typhoon landing in China since 1949. It is also the third typhoon landing in South China for three times since the founding of the people's Republic of China. Under the influence of the heavy rain, the northwest of Hainan, the Leizhou Peninsula of Guangdong and the coastal areas of Guangxi were extremely heavy rain, the maximum daily rainfall house was 602 mm in Baisha, Hainan; Eight rivers, including Nandu River, Changhua River and Mingjiang River in Guangxi Province, occurred floods above the warning water level, among them, the upper reaches of the Nandu River in Hainan Province experienced floods beyond the historical measured records, with a return period of 100 years.

Wenchang, Xuwen and Fangchenggang counties (cities, districts) where three typhoons landed were particularly serious. Haikou and Wenchang in Hainan Province, Xuwen and Leizhou in Guangdong Province, Beihai and Fangchenggang in Guangxi Province have all been interrupted, and seawater has been poured back into many places, causing heavy losses in coastal aquaculture. Hainan Province has been hit hard, and the loss is the most serious since 2000.
