Introduction to the national emblem : The national emblem of Comoros is round. In the center of the circle is an eight-sided fan-shaped pattern, surrounded by words to form a ring. "The Islamic Federal Republic of the Comoros" is written in French and Arabic in the lower half circle. The text is encircled by the branches and leaves of green laurel, with "unity, justice and progress" written in French at the bottom. The eight-sided fan-shaped pattern depicts a crescent moon with four five-pointed stars on it, representing the four islands that make up the Comoros. The moon and stars symbolize that the Comoros believe in Islam.

Comoros, known as the country of the moon and the country of spices, it is an island country in Africa on the Indian Ocean,located at the entrance of the northern end of the Mozambique Strait in the east of Africa. It is about 300 kilometers away from Madagascar and Mozambique in the East and West. The great Comoros Island, Anjouan Island, Mohéli and Mayotte Island, which make up the Comoros, are known as the four pearls in the West Indian Ocean.

The main territory of Comoros are three volcanic islands: Grand Comoros, Mohéli and Anjouan.

Comoros is one of the poorest countries in the world, agriculture is the pillar of the country's economy, its transportation system is also backward, the population is young and growing rapidly, which also lacks natural resources.
