Brief Introduction

The Republic of Cameroon (French: République du Cameroun), commonly known as Cameroon, is a unitary Republic located in central and western Africa, bordering Nigeria in the west, Chad and Central Africa in the northeast and East, and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of Congo in the south.

Cameroon's coastline is close to the Bight of Bonny, which is part of the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Due to its geological and cultural diversity, Cameroon has a good reputation of "small Africa", and its natural and geographical features are quite rich. The highest peak of the area is the volcano of Cameroon in the southwest, and the big cities are Douala, Yaounde and Garoua, where more than 200 ethnic and linguistic groups live.

Cameroon is famous for its national football team and local music style, among which Soul Masckela and Bicussi are the best known.
