Introduction to the national emblem : On the top of the Tunisian coat of arms is a white sailboat sailing on the sea of years, it commemorates the first Phoenicians who set foot on this land, it also reflects the long history of Tunisian maritime trade. The black balance on the left behind is the embodiment of justice and peace; the black lion waving a silver knife on the right suggests that Tunisia was once part of the Byzantine Empire.

Brief Introduction

The Republic of Tunisia is the full name of Tunisia (la Répubique Tunisienne), it is located in the northernmost tip of the African continent, faces the Mediterranean in the north and East, and faces Sicily Island of Italy across the Tunisian Strait, it holds the key point of East-West shipping in the Mediterranean Sea, borders Libya in the southeast and Algeria in the West.

At the beginning of 2011, the Jasmine revolution broke out, which eventually overthrew Ben Ali's regime and triggered a chain reaction in the Arab world.

On the evening of January 26, 2014 (local time), Mahdi Juma, Prime Minister of the Tunisian transitional government, formally submitted a new cabinet member list to President Moncef Marzouki. The Tunisian constituent assembly has adopted a new constitution. On January 27, the new constitution will be officially signed.

On December 21, 2014, Tunisia held the second round of presidential election, and nearly 5.3 million voters will elect a new president from the current president Moncef Marzouki and the leader of the voice party, Essebsi.
