Introduction
The International Cooperative Research Center for Disaster Risk Reduction (ICCR-DRR) is an international cooperative research center established by Beijing Normal University, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the Institute of Disaster Reduction and Emergency Management of the Ministry of Education.The Center was officially established in December 2015 based on the Asian Community Integrated Disaster Reduction Cooperation Project (Phase II).Objectives: Under the overall objective of the Asian Community Integrated Disaster Reduction Cooperation Program, the International Centre for Collaborative Research on Disaster Risk Reduction (ICCR-DRR) aims to enhance academic and technical exchanges in South-South cooperation by promoting collaborative research on cutting-edge topics and core technologies under the theme of disaster risk reduction.
