  • HL = head loss
  • F = friction coefficient
  • V = flow rate
  • L = pipe length
  • D = pipe diameter
  • g = gravity acceleration

Usage example

Input data:

Friction factor---15;

Pipe length - 45 feet;

Pipe diameter - -20 feet;

Flow rate - -15 feet / sec;

Gravity acceleration - 8 feet / sec 2

Click "Calculate" to display the results.

Output results:

Head loss is 474.6094 feet

Note
