Electrolyte supplement online calculation tool

App description

Water is the most abundant component in human body. The body fluid is composed of water and dissolved substances. All kinds of inorganic salts, low molecular organic compounds and proteins in body fluids exist in ionic state, called electrolytes. The metabolism of human body is carried out in body fluid. The content, distribution, osmotic pressure, pH and electrolyte content of body fluid must be kept normal in order to ensure normal life activities.

The formula of electrolyte supplement is as follows:

The total amount of a certain electrolyte deficiency:

Mmol/L = (normal mmol/L - measured mmol/L) × body weight (kg) × 0.6.

1g electrolyte contains the number of mmol.

Normal values of common electrolytes:

Serum potassium: 3.5-5.5mmol/l;

Serum sodium: 135-145mmol/L;

Serum chlorine: 96-108mmol/L;

Serum calcium: 2.25-2.58mmol/L_;9-11mg/dl_;

Serum inorganic phosphorus: 0.97-1.61mmol/l (3-9mg/dl).
