Cause of the rainstorm in Liaohe River, 2nd Songhua River in August, 1953

The rainstorm was the background of the circulation of the Western Pacific subtropical high to the northwest, which was produced by the integrate of the 10th typhoon and westerly trough . During the 16th to 18th , and 10th typhoon shift northeast at the East China Sea , after landing in Yueqing, Zhejiang province ,it reached the inland region of north China , at the same time , the western pacific subtropical high had also moved into west and north , the center reached 136°E、30°N . A strong low - air current in typhoon right front (above 20 meters per second) arrived at the Bohai Sea , forming a warm front at first , combining with the cold front in front of the low chute in north China , generating Bohai cyclone and moved northwest , that has moved to the northern Liaoning province in 19th . It is worth pointing out that the direct cause of this heavy rain was Bohai cyclone , but the typhoon low pressure that moved to the north is also a major cause , which provids warm and humid air conveying and convergence vertical motion conditions for the occurrence of Bohai cyclone through low-altitude southeast rapids . After the 10th typhoon landed , its low - altitude currents are maintained and strengthened to north , it's related to the direct effect with the enhancement to north of the vice - high , while the power that promotes the "deputy high" to enhance to north is closely related to the 14th typhoon which on its south ,the eastern Philippines and moved west by north . It can be seen that the twin typhoon activity and itself , subtropical high , west wind trough those three-band system interacted with each other , were really important for the formation of the rainstorm .
