On February 15, 2004, a crowded carnival in a park in Los Angeles caused a major safety accident with more than 100 deaths. At 11:40 a.m. on January 24, 2003, the Chengdu Amusement Park suddenly blocked out, and more than 20 tourists were trapped in the cable car.

What should we do to avoid accidents?

(1) Select regular amusement places, and check whether the amusement facilities have safety inspection marks before playing. China has strict safety inspection rules for special equipment, and amusement facilities must undergo regular inspection once a year. If the product has passed the inspection, then the safety inspection mark shall be hung at the obvious position of the equipment. With the installation of a safety inspection certificate, visitors can enjoy the ride.

(2) Read carefully the notice to visitors to determine whether you are suitable for riding. Generally speaking, children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult when they take an amusement ride. For more dangerous amusement machines, children fewer than 1.4 meters are not suitable and people who are suffering from acrophobia, high blood pressure, heart disease, cervical spondylosis and anemia are not suitable, either.

(3) Tourists must follow the arrangement of the staff and bring safety belts and other safety devices when riding entertainment machines. For those involving reverse, violent collision, visitors should also hand over satchel, backpack to staff for custody. Secondly, glasses, keys and other items should be removed in advance to avoid damage or injury. In the event of power failure or mechanical failure, it is necessary to listen to the staff's instructions. Keep calm and try to pull the safety belt on the legs. When the entertainment machine returns to its original position, leave and return to a safe position under the guidance of the staff.

(4) When entermainment machines operate, do not remove the safety devices privately, fight, stand, or extend hands, feet and head out of the guardrail.

(5) When enjoying pleasure on boats and other water recreation facilities, avoid unsafe behaviors such as collision.
