The seminar on the data quality control of emergency
management system was held in Institute of Geographic Sciences
and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences
(IGSNRR, CAS), on January 11, 2021. Experts from National
Disaster Reduction Center of China, National Bureau of
Statistics Data Management Center, National Bureau of Statistics
Rural Affairs Department, National Quality Inspection
and Testing Center for Surveying and Mapping Products,
Engineering Technology Division of The State Information
Center, Dalian University of Technology, Institute of
Disaster Prevention, Institute of Geographic Sciences
and Natural Resources Research, CAS, Agricultural Information
Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences,
Beijing GIStone Information Technology Co., Ltd., and
Geo-Compass Information Technology Co., Ltd., attended
this meeting and exchanged ideas. Prof. Juanle Wang from
IGSNRR, CAS presided over the meeting.
Prof. Wang introduced the themes and background, the phased
progress of the inspection and quality control rules and
the general overview of the verification program on the
conference. Experts were invited to discuss the overall
framework and process of quality control and the key
technical requirements in the survey and released
the following points:
1.Establishing the quality management system for the whole process of disaster investigation.
2.Improving the quality control standard system for disaster investigation.
3.Strengthening the quality management of survey data collection.
4.Taking into account national conditions and regional differences to carry out quality assessment and control.
5.Introducing the third evaluation mechanism to improve survey data quality.
6.Improving survey data quality with the help of big data and information technology.
7.Enhancing the quality feedback function of survey and quality check software.
8.Referencing the practical experience of investigation in other fields.
