Two more die as Ahmedabad sizzles at 43.2°C

Two more people succumbed to the stifling weather in the city overnight, mounting the death toll to nine. Ten more high-grade fever cases due to heat were also reported from the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital and other private hospitals in the city.

So far, 10 people have died of heatstroke in the state. On May 17, the heat also claimed one life in Deesa.
