High temperature warning signals

High temperature warning signals have three levels: yellow, orange and red.

High temperature yellow warning signal

Icon:

Criteria: Daily maximum temperature will be above 35 ℃ in the next three days.

Defense guidelines:

1.Relevant departments and units shall prepare for the heatstroke prevention according to their duties;

2.Minimize outdoor activities in the afternoon;

3.Provide guidance of heatstroke prevention for the elderly, the weak, the sick and the young;

4.Personnel working under high temperature and working outdoors in the daytime for a long time should take necessary protective measures.

High temperature orange warning signal

Icon:

Criteria: the daily maximum temperature will be above 37℃ in 24 hours.

Defense guidelines:

1.Relevant departments and units shall make sure that the heatstroke prevention measures are practicable according to their duties;

2.Reduce outdoor activities in high temperature periods as much as possible. Personnel working under high temperature conditions should shorten the continuous working time;

3.Provide guidance of heatstroke prevention for the elderly, the weak, the sick and the young and take necessary prevention measures;

4.Relevant departments and units shall pay attention to guard against fire hazard caused by excessive electricity consumption and excessive power load of electric wire, transformers, etc.

High temperature red warning signal

Icon:

Criteria: the daily maximum temperature will be above 40℃ in 24 hours.

Defense guidelines:

1.Relevant departments and units should take heatstroke prevention and rescue measures according to their duties;

2.Stop outdoor activities (except for special business);

3.Take protective measures for the elderly, the weak, the sick and the young;

4.Relevant departments and units shall pay special attention to fire hazard.
