Introduction
The predecessor of the Institute of crustal dynamics (ICD), China Earthquake Administration, is the seismological geological unit of the Ministry of geology. From the establishment of the seismological team in 1966 to 2018, the Institute of crustal dynamics has gone through 53 years.
