Work Experience
He has been under the tutelage of Li Siguang and Sun Dianqing since 1957, specializing in geomechanics and engaging in small and medium-sized geological structures and petroleum tectonics. He graduated from the Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1961. After 1966 he was transferred to the earthquake system, engaging in seismic research, earthquake prediction, multi-hazard comprehensive disaster reduction and global tectonics and its dynamics. He is the founder of the structural tectonic qualitative analysis, progressive seismic prediction model and the three major tectonic systems in the world.
Achievement
He published more than 200 papers and 20 monographs. He won the first Li Siguang Geological Science Award, and won the national scientific and technological progress second prize, science third prize, China Seismological Bureau first prize.
