Work Experience
Since the early 1970s, he engaged in the study of remote sensing technology and application, and become one of the earliest pioneers in the field of application of remote sensing technology in our country. During the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" he presided over the application.of remote sensing technology, which is one of the projects of the national key scientific and technological projects " comprehensive management of Huang Huaihai middle-and-low-yielding fields". During the period of "seventh Five-Year Plan", he presided over the science and technology research and system construction tasks of high altitude airborne remote sensing practical system, which had an important influence on the development of remote sensing technology. During the national "eighth five-year" science and technology research, he served as the commander of the application of remote sensing technology. He had made an important contribution in remote sensing monitoring and evaluation of natural disasters, remote sensing of the main crop yield estimation,and new technology development. During the national "ninth five-year" science and technology research, he participated in the"remote sensing, geographic information system and global position system (GPS) technology integration and application" project.
