Abstract:

The area in the Silk Road Economic Belt, has been considered as one of the typical ecologically fragile area. In recent years, due to the global climate changes, the main meteorological factors, surface vegetation, the ecosystem, water environment, animal and plant growth status, etc have been affected certainly. And the feedback effect to the global climate change in this area is also obvious. In recent years, many researchers have focused on this and carried out a lot of research. Soil moisture content is the important factor of the soil environment and land surface vegetation cover, and has also been studied. Due to the development of remote sensing, the regional drought monitoring studies have been carried out, and have important instruction significance in the regional ecosystem, soil environment and land surface vegetation cover changes. This study would focus on the regional drought remote sensing monitoring methods and the studies have been carried out in the area for the Silk Road Economic Belt. Certain technical supports would been expected in the further studies in this area.
