On-line calculation of dust emission per unit length of road in a year, EIA calculation

Category: EIA

App Description

Calculation of the amount of dust generated per unit length of road in a year:

$$ QA=C \times 24 \times (D-d) \times P \times (l-Ac) \times E \times 10^{-5} $$

In the formula:

QA—the amount of dust generated per unit length of road in a year, t;

C—average hourly traffic, vehicle/h;

D—the total number of days calculated, 365 days;

D—the number of days in which the precipitation in a year is greater than 0.254 mm;

P—road grade factor, such as 0.4 within the inner loop, and 0.8 between the inner and outer loops;

Ac—dusting coefficient, such as 0.4 within the inner loop, and 0.2 between the inner and outer loops;

L—the length of the road, km;

Q—the amount of dust generated by the road year, t.

Usage example

Input data

C—average hourly traffic, vehicle/h: 30

D—the total number of days calculated, 365 days: 200

D—the number of days in which the precipitation is greater than 0.254 mm in one year: 20

P—road grade factor, such as 0.4 within the inner loop, 0.8:0.4 between the inner and outer loops

Ac—Dust removal coefficient, such as 0.4 within the inner loop, 0.2:0.4 between the inner and outer loops

L—road length, km: 400

E—Rotary dust emission factor caused by a single vehicle: 10
