The calculation formula of the critical oxygen deficit model:

\( L=L_0exp(-k_dt) \)

\( O=O_s - \frac {k_dL_0}{k_a-k_d}[exp(-k_dt)-exp(-k_at)]-D_0exp(-k_at) \)

L——BOD concentration in river water, mg/L

Kd——the organic matter degradation constant, d-

Ka——Atmospheric oxygen-rich Changshu, d-

t - time, s

Os - saturated dissolved oxygen concentration in water, mg / L

Usage example

Input data:

Kd—organic degradation constant, d: 40

Ka—Atmospheric oxygen rich constant, d: 30

T-time, s: 20

Os - saturated dissolved oxygen concentration in water, mg / L: 10

L0—the first stage BOD concentration, mg/L: 20

Do—dissolved oxygen, mg/L: 8
