Calculation formula for dust emission of coal piles in Qinhuangdao Wharf:   \(QP=2.1K \times (U-U0)^3 \times e^{-1.023w} \times P\)

In the formula:

  • Qp - dust amount of coal pile, kg / a;
  • K - the empirical coefficient is a function of the water content of the coal, taking K = 0.96;
  • U - average wind speed of coal yard, m / s;
  • U0—the starting wind speed of coal dust, m/s, taking 3.0m/s;
  • W - surface moisture content of coal dust, %;
  • P - cumulative coal accumulation in coal yards, t/a.
