Square root online calculator

The square root, also called the quadratic root, is expressed as [√ ̄], where the square root of the non-negative number is called the arithmetic square root. A positive number has two real square roots, which are opposite to each other; 0 has only one square root, which is 0 itself; negative numbers have two conjugated pure virtual square roots.

In general, "√ ̄" is only used to represent the square root of the arithmetic, that is, the non-negative square root. Such as: √ 16 = 4.
