APP description

Due to the immature development of the newborn's body and the particularity of pharmacokinetics, the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of drugs are significantly different from those of older children. Therefore, there are many special requirements for neonatal medication, and many clinical drugs are faced. Limitations and difficulties require special care, and some drugs with more toxic side effects should not be used.

Adrenaline: Its physiological role is mainly to strengthen the heart, increase visceral smooth muscle activity, and raise blood sugar.

Isoprenaline is an antiasthmatic drug, a white or off-white crystalline powder; odorless and slightly bitter. It can relax bronchial smooth muscle; dilate peripheral blood vessels, improve microcirculation; enhance myocardial contractility, accelerate conduction and heart rate, and increase cardiac output. For bronchial asthma, cardiogenic or septic shock, complete atrial asphyxia block. Can be aerosolized, administered sublingually or intravenously.
