Calculate the minimum effective heat sink area of a heat sink based on a known temperature rise

Calculating the Minimum Effective Radiator Area of Radiator Based on the Known Temperature Rise

Formula : Area [A](cm2) = (50/(℃/W) )2

App description

Estimate the temperature rise coefficient (Celsius/Watt) based on the effective area of the heat sink (cm 2 )

formula:

$$ °C/W = 50 / \sqrt(Area cm2 ) $$

Calculate the minimum effective heat sink area of the heat sink based on the known temperature rise

formula:

$$ Area A(cm2) = (50/(℃/W) )2 $$

Usage example

When the temperature rise coefficient is 1, the minimum effective heat sink area Area A = (50/(°C/W) ) 2=2500
